One of the many things that I love about being a professional photographer is that I get to work with so many people from different walks of life reflecting Los Angeles’ cultural diversity. Here are two ladies who recently came to my photo studio where I captured their professional headshots.

Jessica Estrada, Senior Business Development and Marketing Specialist was referred to me by the Human Resources department manager of Vantage Technology Consulting Group to complete Jessica’s headshot at my studio. Jessica chose a pure white backdrop for her headshot and an off white jacket. I always consult with my clients before the session on clothing choices, make-up and hair, and finally what color backdrop we will use. The backdrop selection depends a lot on the intent of what the client wants to do with the image, their skin tone and hair color and their clothing choice.

The second two images are of another client, Yidou, who wanted a few headshots to place strategically within her marketing materials and online presence for different uses. Yidou chose a white and a black outfit with a light gray backdrop. Again, pre-session consultation was done so that I could create images that Yidou had in mind for her professional headshots. I was delighted that Yidou found me via the Airbnb site for which I was chosen to be listed as a service that Airbnb guests can utilize while traveling.
