Family portraits for Los Angeles fire victims to fill their new homes with memories.

At the beginning of December 2025 I volunteered for an event called Home for the Holidays arranged by Your Next Door Neighbor where the LA fire victims were honored. What I provided for the event was free family portraits so that the families who were victimized by the LA fires could decorate their new homes with a beautiful representation of their family in 2025.

The event was filled with vendors who were either donating their time or giving away products such as holiday decorations, t-shirts, high-end toiletries, stuffed animals, makeup, stocking stuffers,…

I had the great pleasure to be able to speak with the families that decided to sign up for their portrait and learn a bit about their story. Most of the families attending the event had lost their homes to the fires in January 2025. They were so grateful to still have their loved ones with them and appreciated the thoughtfulness of Your Next Door Neighbor organization to think of them by having this event in their honor.
