Investments
For portrait sessions investments vary according to type, size, and location of session. Clients reserve a session by paying a booking fee at the initial consultation, and all finished artwork is purchased separately. At the studio: a family or adult portrait booking fee starts at $400 for up to five people, a pet portrait session is $300 and add up to five humans for $100, and a single baby or child session is $300. Wall art begins at $200, folio boxes at $600 and albums at $1,200. All artwork is purchased at the ordering session scheduled for after the photography session. Some people spend $300 on their artwork and some spend $3000. It’s up to you. We offer special package prices for a Baby’s First Year Plan, please ask us. Each photography session is tailored exclusively for you to meet your needs, so please call to find out how we can fine-tune sessions to meet your individual style. The creative fee is paid when booking your date and reserves your session date and time on our calendar. The creative fee for the session is a non-refundable retainer even if the session is postponed or canceled. We require a 72-hr. notice for cancellations. If this proper notice is given, the appointment will be rescheduled but not refunded.

We start with scheduling a free consultation (see video below) before the session at our studio or in your home. During the portrait consultation we will discuss how you plan to display the artwork in your home, clothing choices, makeup, hair, background or location options, number of adults, children, babies or pets in the session, possible props that you might want to incorporate and how to prepare for the session beforehand.
We end the photography package with an ordering session, aka design session, where we pamper you with refreshments, project and review 30-40 proof images on a large monitor for you to choose the images for your artwork order, you get to touch and hold folio boxes, albums and wall art, and we consult you on framing and displaying your artwork in your home. Please note that we do not place images online, send digital proofs via email or include free digital files with sessions. We want to make sure that our clients see the best of our images, get quality archival prints and receive our expert advice on image presentation options.
For headshot sessions we consult before the session on what your objectives are for using the images. You reserve a session date by paying a booking fee during the consultation.
