Julie Hopkins of Camera Creations will give a lecture on networking for photographers.
Like all professionals, that need to promote themselves in a highly competitive environment, photographers also need to have a strong networking plan as one of the many elements involved in succeeding and thriving as a professional photographer. Being a talented and skilled photographer does not mean success in the professional realm of photography. Having both networking and business skills will make the difference in the quality of life that you can create for yourself as a professional photographer.
Julie will guide us through the primary steps to getting a strong networking plan in place.  She will lay down the groundwork that’s involved before any networking can take place and then give us examples of what is available for us to network our talents to the public and develop a healthy client base. From face to face and social media networking, to community involvement she will discuss what these activities can do to enhance our presence in a competitive market.
Come and enjoy the lecture while networking with other photographers and members of Bonita Luna International on December 11, 2010 from 2 to 3:30pm in the La Foto Gallery at 806 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90405
