UPDATE YOUR BRAND WITH PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS | LOS ANGELES PHOTOGRAPHER

So, like any other business person as a photographer I need to update my images online regularly.

Today all professionals have a need for imagery that represents their personality and their brand. These images should be done by a professional photographer for the best results and so their public sees them in the best “light”.

As with any person who needs to constantly promote their business I have a need to update my own headshot images for all sorts of things such-as social media sites like LinkedIn, the website, articles, business cards, to name a few. A fresh headshot elicited a positive response from your audience reflecting your professionalism and care that you take to stay “au Courant’. Luckily as a photographer I have the ability to use my studio, lighting and equipment to do a few self portraits.

During a recent warm day of summer I took a few hours to set up for some self portraits and a short video for the first page of my website. The same preparation that I ask my clients to take I completed: hair, makeup, clothing choices, etc.. Nevertheless, when you are wearing many hats: camera person, videographer, makeup artist, stylist,… it can get quite daunting.

I decided to use a red gel as a spot in the back ground to create a strong message that reflects the passion that I have for the art of photography and to create an image that stands out in this very saturated photography market of Los Angeles.

It’s an easy process to have your professional headshots completed at my photography studio in Los Angeles. I have a well oiled system that takes you through the steps of preparation, posing and choosing your final images. Give me a call to talk about your professional images, 323-466-3909.

Here are two headshots from the session. The video can be found on the first page of my website.

  1. I never thought to use a red backdrop like this – it DOES look powerful. Thanks for the brilliant tip.
